Description
An impressionist oil painting of gum trees was painted in soft pinks and greens with a palette knife for a thickly textured artwork. The sky is a soft creamy yellow with pink hints. In the foreground there is the trunk of a very old gum tree with some white trunks of young eucalyptus trees to the side. There is fallen bark and autumn leaves beneath the trees.This Australian bush scene is in country New South Wales, near the 'Bush Capital' of Australia, Canberra.
