Description
This pretty pink cottage is on the island of Burano which is in the lagoon a 30 minute boat ride from Venice, Italy. Burano is a popular tourist destination for it's brightly colorful houses, it's lace making, Murano glass and fish restaurants.
The houses were originally colored so that you could see where one house started and another began and also so that they could be seen from fishing boats. The house is painted bright pink with green shutters and has lots of colorful washing on the line and pot plants scattered around the cobbled stone pavement.
