Description
An impressionist seascape oil painting of Laguna Beach. The beautiful Laguna Beach was founded in 1887 and is in south Orange County, California, United States, between Los Angeles and San Diego. With 7 miles of coastline it is famous for its mild sunny climate, beautiful sandy beaches and 20 coves. Approximately 3 million people visit the beach each year. It is very popular with artists, hikers, photographers, bird watchers and filmmakers for its beaches, rocky hills and canyons. It holds the world famous Brooks Street Surfing Classic which began in 1955 and is open only to Laguna Beach residents. Volleyball is another popular beach sport at Laguna.
