Oil painting portrait of a colourful native Australian bird, the Princess Parrot. It was completed with a palette knife in shades of blue, green and pink. This parrot's name was given in honour of Princess Alexandra of Denmark. Other names for the Princess Parrot are Alexandra's parakeet, Princess of Wales parakeet and rose-throated parakeet.
