Description
This is a palette knife oil painting of a Spotted Towhee bird.
Spotted Towhee males have a darker head, upper body and tail with a white belly, reddish brown sides, white spots on their back and white wing bars. Females look similar but are dark brown and grey instead of black. The spotted towhee lives in dry open forests and brushy fields. This sparrow breeds across north-western North America.
