An impressionist seascape painting of Newport Beach California and the Balboa Pier on the Newport Peninsula. This beach scene has colorful beach umbrellas, palm trees, the Balboa pavilion, people and a lifeguard chair.
Newport Beach is a city in Orange County, California, south of Santa Ana and known for its Mediterranean climate. It has been a popular beach for surfers and beach lovers since 1905. Newport Pier is used by strollers, sightseers and fishermen. The boardwalk runs for nearly 3 miles past Newport Pier to the Balboa Peninsula. Newport Harbor has the largest boat harbor in the U.S. and is popular for sailing, rowing, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking.
This bright little beach painting of Newport Beach will be the talking point of any room and bring back memories of summer holidays.
